Rhythm Dictation Level 4

Rhythm practice! Incorporate Rhythmic Dictation in your sightreading and music theory practice. These rhythm activities are perfect for all Band, Choir, and Orchestra students. Help them transcribe the rhythms they are hearing and put their music theory understanding to the test!

Each video begins with 8 beats of a metronome “click”, set to 80 (quarter note). Every exercise is written in 4/4 time. Each video includes 10 different measures of rhythm, each played 3 times with a measure of rest between them.

The levels include:

  • Level FOUR: Sixteenth Notes, Eighth Notes, Quarter Notes, Half Notes, Dotted Quarter Notes, Dotted Half Notes
